DHF8000 & PUMA VTR series products are used in chassis machining
As one of the key components of aeroengines, the nacelle is divided into a split ring structure, an integral ring structure, and an irregular shell. It has a complex structure and is difficult to manufacture. The material of the nacelle is generally a high-temperature nickel-based superalloy and titanium alloy that is difficult to machine. The nacelle itself has the characteristics of thin walls and weak rigidity, its surface is complex and has high precision requirements, so it is difficult to process. Beijing Shenming Technology Co., Ltd. uses the PUMA VTR series of sliding-saddle vertical turning centers and the DHF8000 five-axis linkage horizontal machining center with oscillating spindle from South Korea's DN to complete the machining of the nacelle from blank to finished product.
An aeroengine nacelle with a thrust of 15,000 kg has a diameter of approximately φ800 mm, and a minimum wall thickness of 3 mm. Therefore, the processing of the nacelle requires medium and large multi-functional, high-precision CNC machine tools.
In nacelle processing, from blank to finished product, approximately 70% of the material is removed. Beijing Smart technology Co.,ltd. uses the PUMA VTR series of sliding-saddle vertical turning centers from South Korea's DN. The VTR series turning center features a highly rigid design and a wide-column structure, high-strength chromium-molybdenum alloy steel sliding saddle, a long-stroke design for improved processing flexibility, a sliding saddle tool change system, and an ATC, providing a good turning solution for nacelle machining.
The oscillating spindle five-axis linkage horizontal machining center DHF8000 is selected. It uses a double-ball screw structure and grating ruler system for the X/Y axes, a spindle and structural thermal compensation system, and a screw center cooling system to ensure the machining accuracy of the parts. The rigid gear spindle head structure can provide a high torque of 960 N.m, or a high-speed electric spindle with 15000 r/min or 30000 r/min can be selected to meet different processing requirements; an optional turning type worktable (DHF8000ST, 500 r/min maximum) provides the necessary conditions for process diversity. The above features shorten the nacelle processing flow, ensuring not only the accuracy of the parts but also improving processing efficiency.
